About GLOBIS Taiwan
GLOBIS University, Japan’s largest business school, has launched in Taipei, marking a significant milestone in its Asian expansion. As the second GLOBIS hub in a Mandarin-speaking market, the Taipei office underscores Taiwan’s strategic importance in regional talent development and cross-border business connectivity.
The Taipei Hub will introduce GLOBIS’ signature management framework to local professionals and Japan-linked enterprises. This unique curriculum integrates traditional Japanese management philosophy, kokorozashi (personal mission), and "Technovate" (technology × innovation). Co-led by Stuart Parsons (Head of Learner Business, B2C) and Shingo Daidohji (Head of Corporate Business, B2B), the new hub will serve as the school's operational anchor in Taiwan.
Moving forward, the Taipei Hub will offer Pre-MBA courses, MBA trial programs, tailored corporate training, and a dynamic calendar of community events. By bridging Taiwan with GLOBIS’ extensive campus and alumni networks across Japan and Southeast Asia, the hub will allow local learners to seamlessly integrate into the broader Asian business ecosystem. Ultimately, GLOBIS aims to empower Taiwanese talent to "build locally and connect regionally", equipping leaders with the capabilities, mindsets, and networks required to drive meaningful impact across Asia.
For decades, Japanese corporations have shaped the global business landscape through enduring brand trust, long-term capital strategies, and robust international expansion. Central to this sustained success is a management philosophy that balances technological agility with deep societal purpose. GLOBIS distills this into its core pillars: Technovate, which prepares leaders to disrupt industries through technology, and kokorozashi, which aligns individual ambition with social responsibility. Through this structured curriculum, GLOBIS brings a world-class education to Taiwan, cultivating a new generation of purpose-driven leaders ready to create sustainable regional value.
Strategically located at the intersection of Greater China and ASEAN, the Taipei Hub Campus will serve as a key hub connecting Japanese management expertise with Taiwanese talent and enterprises. On the corporate side, the campus will deepen collaboration with Japanese companies in Taiwan, supporting the development of local leadership pipelines, enhancing alignment between regional teams and headquarters strategies, and cultivating management talent with cross-market integration capabilities. For professionals—particularly those who work closely with Japanese headquarters, partners, or clients—the Taipei Hub Campus will offer structured learning in Japanese management practices, cross-cultural leadership, and Asia-focused business cases. Learners will also have the option to pursue a one-year, Full-time MBA program in Tokyo, conducted entirely in English, to expand their career opportunities and professional networks in Japan. Through this dual-track approach, the Taipei Hub Campus will further strengthen Taiwan’s role in regional technology supply chains and cross-border business.
